Tyler Vance returns, and once again trouble is waiting for him. After breaking up the multimillion-dollar gun deal of "A Flash of Red," the retired special operative thought he could return to a quiet life with his family, but the past isn't through with him yet. Those millions are still floating around, and their owners blame Vance for the disappearance. They demand he get the money back - but as it turns out, the new owners are even more vicious than the originals. Caught between hard cases, Vance must hope for the best and plan for the worst - but it looks like the worst is going to be very bad indeed....
